Digital exhibition is important for the development of film industry because in a way, it attracts viewers to watching the film. The exhibitor may go about selling the experience of a film by doing things such as making special offers (such as free popcorn if you watch the movie), or having the movie 3D.

Bridget Jones And The boat that rocked. Marketing

Merchandising.
Definition- When certain items or products are being sold that relates to a film, show, game etc. For example James Bond T-shirts being sold.
The Boat that rocked uses a small variety of merchandise. They sell items like posters T-shirts and Jumpers.
Bridget Jones has Many types of merchandise. Including T-shirts, mugs, books, posters etc.

Synergy Marketing
Definition: When 2 Companies work together to make a certain product, movie, show etc. for example Working Title and universal Pictures working together to make a film.
The boat that rocked was made by working title, which was made for uiniversal pictures, so there was synergy marketing between these two companies. However It seems no synergy marketing was used in Bridget Jones.

Viral Marketing
Definition: When Something is advertised through word of mouth. For example, your friend telling you about a Game He bought
Viral Marketing is used in both The boat that rocked and Bridget Jones. This is from viewers watching, viewing or buying either merchandise or the film. Then the viewer may talk about it to another person which will the spread word.

Product Placement
Definition: When A product is placed in a certain scene of a movie to advertise the company makers product. for example, A car in James Bond
Bridget jones and The Boat that rocked may haveused certain products in the movie which companies may have paid the cast to put in a scene. I can not verify that Product placemnt was used in these movies as i haven't watched these films.
